Second District Officers Visit YWCA Women’s Facility

Second District officers and YWCA staff pose together inside a women’s facility during a safety and community partnership visit.

Commander Maffo-Judd, along with Officers Lozinak and Domnori, recently visited a Greater Cleveland YWCA-operated facility within the Second District where women in need of support and shelter are cared for.

The officers met with YWCA staff to talk through ways to enhance safety for residents and guests of the facility. The group also discussed potential opportunities for the women to interact with local officers in more informal, community-focused settings.

The Cleveland Police Foundation appreciates the YWCA’s continued commitment to the women of our city and was glad to support this important visit.
