Our Voices Matter Project ECHO

Cleveland Police Foundation

The objective of the Our Voices Matter Project ECHO is to engage adults and police to invest in our youth and help them build, bridge and link their social capital so they can achieve success. Youth engage in a process to identify issues that they care about and begin developing strategies towards a solution. They also learn how to engage in Project ECHO, which is a revolutionary model to reduce health disparities and positively impact our communities. Additionally, the youth become a part of a national research project to demonstrate the impact of the role of youth in addressing issues in our community.

Vote Your Interests

Vote Your Interests evolved out of Our Voices Matter Project ECHO. During one of the ECHO sessions, youth shared the reasons why they were disengaged from the electoral process and created Vote Your Interests as a solution. Vote Your Interests is a nonpartisan initiative to engage, inform and empower youth to be a voice and change agent in their community.
