Pulling for a Cause at the Special Olympics Plane Pull

The Cleveland Police Plane Pull team poses in blue shirts in front of a United Airlines plane after competing.

You fly in a plane? We pull it!

On Saturday, Second District officers teamed up with officers from across the city to compete in the Special Olympics Plane Pull, a high-energy fundraiser for Special Olympics Ohio.

With 20 officers on the rope, the team pulled a 747 jet ten feet for time and earned second place in the Public Safety Division.

Congratulations to all the Special Olympics athletes and participants for making this event such a success, and thank you to everyone who supported this great cause.
