PUBLIC SERVICE AWARD: Officer Renee Perez has proudly served the City of Cleveland for 25 years as a dedicated member of the Cleveland Division of Police.
Officer Perez started her career in September of 2000 where she patrolled the 3rd and 5th District before being assigned to the City Hall Security Unit in 2021.
A lifelong resident of Cleveland, Officer Perez grew up in the city she now protects and serves, deeply committed to the community that shaped her.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and compassion in her work, building trust with residents and serving as a role model for future generations.
Her unwavering dedication to public safety and her willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty have earned her the respect of colleagues and community members alike.
Officer Perez’s 25 years of service reflect not only her personal courage and commitment, but also her love for Cleveland and its people.

We provide funding for youth and community outreach programs, community policing and engagement initiatives, safety & crime prevention programs, and support the members of the Cleveland Division of Police to help them better perform their duties.
