After 26 years of dedicated service, Lieutenant Richard Sanders has officially retired from the Cleveland Division of Police. Having spent his entire career in the former Fifth District and the current Third District, Lt. Sanders built a reputation for strong leadership, steady guidance, and genuine connection to the community.

Surrounded by colleagues, friends, and a few heartfelt gifts, Lt. Sanders was celebrated for his lasting impact and deep commitment to public service. His legacy will continue to inspire those who follow in his footsteps.

We provide funding for youth and community outreach programs, community policing and engagement initiatives, safety & crime prevention programs, and support the members of the Cleveland Division of Police to help them better perform their duties.
