July Partner: Fishing, Fellowship, and the Heart of Community Policing

July 2025 - The Partner

Dear Friends,

Our July issue of The Partner newsletter is here, and it’s filled with stories that reflect the connections we’re proud to help build and support.

In this issue, you’ll find:

  • Kids and cops side by side — sharing not just fishing rods, but meals, stories, and laughter at this summer’s Cops and Kids Fishing Events.
  • Support in moments that matter, as we honor Detective Beverly Fraticelli for her tireless work supporting officers and their families through the Employee Assistance Unit.
  • Community behind the badge, with the Hispanic Police Officers Association recognized for sponsoring the Guardians of Hope softball team and fostering camaraderie across the department.
  • Upcoming events across the districts — from National Night Out to neighborhood meetings and the Guardians of Hope game.
  • A quiet moment of remembrance for Officer Jamieson Ritter, whose memory continues to guide us one year later.

These moments, big and small, all matter — and your support is what makes them possible. Thank you for helping us make Cleveland a more connected and compassionate place.
