Guttu Speaks with 156th Academy Class

Guttu and CPD leadership speak with cadets of the 156th Cleveland Police Academy Class at the Justice Center, with a “PRIDE” values wall behind them.

I had the opportunity to address the 156th Cleveland Police Academy Class at the Justice Center this week. We talked about the mission of the Cleveland Police Foundation and the role it plays in supporting our officers and community.

That mission includes three key areas:

  • Building bridges of trust and understanding between the community and our CPD officers
  • Creating opportunities for positive police interaction with kids
  • Enhancing officer well-being through morale support and mental health initiatives

Good luck to these fine officers who will be graduating this Thursday. Be safe—and above all, thank you for your service.
