Bike Your Neighborhood Kicks Off 2025 Season

A large group of Bike Your Neighborhood riders in matching shirts and helmets rolls out together from a park, with a colorful mural and trees in the background

Bike Your Neighborhood is back for its third season, and the Cleveland Police Foundation is proud to join as a community sponsor. This free series of monthly rides brings neighbors together through movement, local storytelling, and public space exploration.

The 2025 season begins Saturday, June 14, with a Juneteenth ride that starts at Amos Norwood Mini Park and travels through Buckeye, Larchmere, and Mt. Pleasant. The ride honors Black history in Cleveland and features guest riders from the Juneteenth Freedom Riders, who have led local rides since 2017. All rides are family-friendly and move at a casual pace. No one is left behind.

Bike Your Neighborhood rides take place on the second Saturday of each month from June through September. Each ride is free and open to the public, with free bike rentals available on site with valid ID. This year also introduces a new raffle—riders who use one of the provided bikes are entered to win a bike, helmet, and lock. Two or more winners will be drawn at each ride.

Upcoming 2025 Ride Dates

  • June 14 – Juneteenth Ride (Buckeye, Larchmere, Mt. Pleasant)
  • July 12 – Second Saturday Ride
  • August 9 – Second Saturday Ride
  • September 13 – Season Finale Ride

All rides gather at 11:00 AM near the gazebo at 12805 Drexmore Road and depart at 11:30 AM. Free rentals are first come, first served with valid ID.

The goal of Bike Your Neighborhood is to promote health, visibility, and connection. Rides highlight neighborhood history, local leaders, and cultural events, with past guests including Mayor Justin Bibb, Congresswoman Shontel Brown, and Council President Blaine Griffin. Every event brings something different, from art and music to public safety and advocacy.
