A Feast to Remember in Little Italy

Parade participants dressed in red, white, and green skirts and shirts march down Mayfield Road as crowds look on during the Feast of the Assumption.

Little Italy came alive once again for the Feast of the Assumption, filling the neighborhood with the sights, sounds, and flavors of one of Cleveland’s most cherished traditions. For three days, Mayfield Road was filled with the aroma of Italian food, the energy of live music, and the joy of neighbors and visitors celebrating together.

From handmade pasta and sausage and peppers to parades, processions, and local art, there was something for everyone. Families gathered to enjoy music and food, while long-time residents and new visitors alike joined in honoring the heritage and faith that make the Feast so special.

Throughout the celebration, District 3 officers and other members of the Cleveland Division of Police were present to help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all. Their presence allowed the community to focus on what the Feast is all about—faith, culture, and coming together in celebration.

Thank you to everyone who came out to make this year’s Feast a true highlight of Cleveland’s summer calendar.
