The Cleveland Police Pipes & Drums needs our help…to the point…they need new kilts!

Established in 1996, the Cleveland Police Pipes & Drums has proudly represented the law enforcement community of NE Ohio with dignity, dedication and honor. They were recently proclaimed our region’s Law Enforcement Kilted Ambassadors.

Over the years, they’ve supported countless charitable causes, ceremonies and fundraisers by lending their talents to make civic functions and special events that much more “special.” The band has provided pipers and drummers for the funerals of active and retired LE officers and their family members, and helped to render final honors to officers who died in the line of duty throughout Greater Cleveland, the State of Ohio, and surrounding states.

The Cleveland Police Foundation (CPF) is leading the campaign to raise the $5,000.00 needed to provide new kilts and to refurbish those that can be salvaged. Our goal is to raise $5,000 by March 31, 2014 so the band can purchase new kilts and proudly march in the events of the 29th Annual Greater Cleveland Police Memorial Commemoration, May 15-18, 2014.

The CPD Pipes & Drums have been there for us, now it’s time for us to be there for them.

We respectfully request your assistance by contributing to this effort. One hundred percent of the donations will be provided to the band. All contributions are tax deductible and will be recognized by the CPF and the band. Those individuals who contribute $50.00 or more, and organizations that contribute $500.00 or more will be recognized on the CPF’s website and newsletter, as well as the CPD P&D’s website.

To contribute to this effort, click-on donate, and then use PayPal or a credit card.
