January 22, Second District officers distributed the annual sock and underwear donations from the community to assist our unsheltered neighbors in the area.
Officers receive donations from local block clubs and organizations from the fall through the new year and distribute to area resource centers including One Hope NEO, Iglesia Nueva Vida Church, May Dugan Center, The Spanish American Committee, St. Paul Church, New Beginnings Ministry and NEOCH.
These charitable organizations give donations to those directly in need through the winter months and through the year. Thank you to all who donated throughout the community showing the power of police and community relations.
