All Cleveland Division of Police officers are trained in Crisis Intervention techniques for use when individuals are experiencing a crisis. Officers are also offered the opportunity to become Specialized Crisis Intervention Officers to enhance their abilities and knowledge base. Second District Officers Ketchum, Patterson and VonDuhn voluntarily completed extra training and studies and will be putting that training into practice in the Second District neighborhoods.
