Second District Christmas Drive-Thru Brings Holiday Joy to 300 Children

Second District officers, volunteers, and community members pose in front of the Cleveland Police Foundation outreach truck during the annual Christmas Drive Thru event.

The Cleveland Police Foundation, together with Cleveland Police District 2, once again held its annual Christmas Drive-Thru event at Mary Queen of Peace Church, providing gifts and Christmas stockings to 300 children from the surrounding community.

Former Second District Commander Keith Sulzer, who has spearheaded this effort for 18 years, shared his gratitude for everyone involved. “Thank you to all of our volunteers and donors who helped make this event a success. This is my 18th year participating, and it remains one of the highlights of my holiday season.”

For many of the families served, this event made a real difference. Without this giveaway, some of these children would not have received anything for Christmas at all.

Thank you to Keith, and to all the volunteers and donors who worked behind the scenes once again to bring smiles, hope, and holiday cheer to so many young faces.
