It was a time for celebration on November 13, 2014 at the OLA/St. Joseph Center as the large crowd in attendance came to recognize excellence in community service.

The annual Second District Community Relations Committee awards banquet hosted the event along with Commander Thomas Stacho, who also officiated the ceremony. Also in attendance was Chief Calvin Williams, Deputy Chief Dornat Drummond, Executive Director of the City’s Community Relations Board Blaine Griffith, and other city officials, police officers, and citizens.

Representing The Cleveland Police Foundation was board member James Craciun, who presented the CPF’s awards for outstanding community service to Lieutenant Frank Bolon, Second District Community Relation Committee Co-Chair Robert Shores, and the Angel Arroyo on behalf of the Guardian Angels.

An outstanding dinner was provided by Bruno’s Catering, and a big thank you goes out to Cinecraft Productions, and The Great Lakes Brewery, for their support in sponsoring the event.

Congratulations to all the recipients for a job well done!
