PAL Thrills Kids at 2023 CPD Children’s Christmas Party

The annual PAL (Police Athletic League) Children’s Christmas Party was for the second year staged at Tower City Center to the delight of over 700 inner city kids. Golden tickets are distributed by Cleveland Police Officers to the neediest children in the five police districts, and entitle them to their choice of a significant toy plus free food, beverages, games and special attractions. Parents wait outside the “Toy Vault” (English Oak Room) while a police officer or volunteer escorts each child into the Vault to select their toy.

PAL has been producing the Christmas Party for the better part of thirty years with the help of volunteers from the Division of Police, Cleveland Police Auxiliary, and other law enforcement agencies. Bedrock Properties, the owner of Tower City, co-sponsors the event.
