Next “Conversations for Change”: March 25 via Zoom

Thanks to all who participated in last month’s “Conversations for Change.” Join us for a Re-UP March 25 via Zoom!

We wish to thank the participants in the “Conversations for Change”. Thank you for your time, honesty, and willingness to engage with the police!

Participants answered a survey – a snapshot of the results:

  • 97.06% were either Satisfied or Very Satisfied with the event overall
  • 82.35% either Agreed or Strongly Agreed that the event helped improve their perception of police officers
  • 76.48% either Agreed or Strongly Agreed that their input was well received by police officers
  • 85.3% either Agreed or Strongly Agreed that the police officers were honest and authentic in their responses
  • 88.23% either Agreed or Strongly Agreed that they wanted more opportunities like this for youth to engage with police officers

Additional suggestions included:

  • Discussions facilitated by youth
  • Discuss current events
  • More activities
  • Bring in players to help spread the word
  • More events like this
  • More icebreakers
  • Fairs, festivals
  • Basketball tournaments
  • Sit down talks
  • Playing games
