Little Learners, Big Safety: Safety Town at Frederick Douglass

The Frederick Douglass Neighborhood Resource and Recreation Center invites kids Pre-K through 1st grade to Safety Town—a free, one-day training course held July 1, 8, and 15 from 9-11 a.m. This hands-on program teaches vital safety lessons with police officers, EMS, and firefighters, covering 911 dispatch, stranger awareness, bike riding, railroad crossings, and traffic signals. It’s a fun, interactive way to help little ones navigate their neighborhoods safely and confidently.
