Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial Society: Keeping the Promise to Never Forget Our Fallen Heroes

The GCPOMS’ 29th Annual Police Memorial Commemoration will be held May 15-18, 2014. This annual convention, held in downtown Cleveland each year in mid-May, is reputed to be one of the finest in North America. The convention attracts hundreds of law enforcement and corrections officers from throughout the U.S.A., Canada and abroad, contributing an estimated $1.8 million annually to the local economy, including approximately 1,500 hotel room nights.

Two national conferences are being held in conjunction with the GCPOMS’ 29th Annual PMC. The National Police Collectors Show will bring over 300 hobbyists for its annual convention to Cleveland Public Auditorium, May 16, 17 & 18t, 2014; and the Police Car Owners & Operators Association of America will hold its national meeting, May 15-18th. The PCOOAA members will bring in 60-90 classic and antique police cars to show and drive throughout town. That should turn some heads.
