CPF Donates Covered Shelter to CPD Outdoor Range

DSCN2071The Cleveland Police Foundation is proud to announce we have donated a covered shelter at the Cleveland Police Outdoor Range. This shelter along with another donated by the Cleveland Police Patrolman’s Association will help keep our officers out of the weather during their handgun, and shotgun training.When questioned about the importance of this new addition to the range the supervisor in charge, Sgt. Keith Campbell stated ” On behalf of all our officers we would like to thank The Cleveland Police Foundation for this generous donation that will keep our officers dry and out of the elements when re-qualifying and practicing at the range”. This donation fulfills an important aspect of The Cleveland Police Foundation’s mission and that is to aid in the training,and education of our C.P.D. Officers and help improve moral.

We provide funding for youth and community outreach programs, community policing and engagement initiatives, safety & crime prevention programs, and support the members of the Cleveland Division of Police to help them better perform their duties. Contributions to the CPF are tax deductible under section 501 (c)(3) of the IRS Code.
