CPD Lieutenant Brings Joy to Neighborhood Six Year Old

9-28While in the area of E.116 and Union, Lt. Paul Baeppler was approached by 6yr old Alton. Alton expressed to Lt. Baeppler that when he grows up he wants to be a police officer because he wants to protect people. Lt. Baeppler was moved by what Alton had told him and offered him to come see the police car, to which Alton excitedly accepted. Alton got to control the lights, sirens, and PA microphone, which made he had a great time doing. It was awesome seeing the joy in both Alton and Lt. Baeppler’s faces during there time together.
