The golfing event was held on Saturday, August 1st at the Legacy Golf Course at Sweetbriar Golf Course in Avon Lake.  The proceeds from the golf outing were donated to recently-injured SWAT officer Jon Rodriguez.

In order to receive the Fahey scholarship a student must fit the following criteria:  have a relative who is or was a law enforcement office; participate in extracurricular activities; have excellent academic and attendance records; and be a Cleveland Police Athletic League volunteer.
