Communications Control Section in the Community

CPD Dispatcher Jennifer O’Malley, with treats in hand for the kids, took the lead on organizing the event.

Cleveland Police dispatchers donated money, collected candy, toys, pumpkins and costumes for children currently housed in domestic violence shelters in the city. The dispatchers, headed up by Jennifer O’Malley, wanted to make sure the children enjoyed a fun Halloween. Candy, pumpkins, makeup, assorted costumes, and decorations were delivered to the shelters for the spooky holiday.  Volunteers from the Cleveland Police Athletic League, the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association, and the Bureau of Community Policing joined the dispatchers in their project.
