Cleveland Foundation Community Caucus Stirs Healthy Discourse on Urban Issues

-a59244933c309338The 2016 Greater Cleveland Caucus Saturday offered a healthy alternative to the fierce partisanship that has overtaken the national political conversation. The caucus offered residents and leaders a chance to set aside partisanship and to set priorities instead, in eight different areas, triggering conversations that were lively and remarkably harmonious at the same time.
They areas were education; the environment; health; housing & neighborhoods; inclusion, population & demographics, jobs and the economy; safety, and transportation & infrastructure. The program was put together by the Cleveland Foundation and partner organizations that included the Cleveland City Club. The Cleveland Police Foundation is the official charity for the Cleveland Division of Police and the only organization authorized to solicit charitable contributions on its behalf.

We provide funding for youth and community outreach programs, community policing and engagement initiatives, safety & crime prevention programs, and support the members of the Cleveland Division of Police to help them better perform their duties. Contributions to the CPF are tax deductible under section 501 (c)(3) of the IRS Code.
