CJ Saves Christmas

DSC_01466-year-old with heart condition dreams of being a police officer. It affects just one in 5,000 babies, including 6-year-old CJ DeJohn. Hypoplastic left heart syndrome is a rare congenital heart condition. Basically, patients have half a heart. By the time CJ was six months old, he already had three open heart surgeries. But like any little boy, he enjoys superheroes, including the real-life ones of the Cleveland Division of Police.

The Cleveland Police Foundation is the official charity for the Cleveland Division of Police and the only organization authorized to solicit charitable contributions on its behalf.

We provide funding for youth and community outreach programs, community policing and engagement initiatives, safety & crime prevention programs, and support the members of the Cleveland Division of Police to help them better perform their duties.
