Team CDP Claims the Chili Crown at the 39th Annual Chili Bowl Classic

Cleveland Police officers pose with a young boy holding the Chili Bowl Classic trophy inside Hofbräuhaus Cleveland

The Cleveland Division of Police had a good day at the 39th Annual Chili Bowl Classic 5K, taking home chili supremacy over their friendly rivals at the Cleveland Fire Department. The event, held with kitchen support from Saint Ignatius High School, raised funds for the Jack Gannon Burn Unit at MetroHealth and Cops for Kids.

CDP shared their thoughts on the win: “When it comes to chili… we run this city.”

Congratulations to Team CDP, and to everyone who came out to run, walk, or just show up hungry for a good cause. You can see more from the event on the Cleveland Division of Police Facebook page.
