Buckeye Neighborhood Community Policing Pilot Project

The objective of this project is to get Cleveland Police officers into the Greater Buckeye Neighborhood and actually take the time to talk, shake hands, and get to know the residents and business owners. The officers are not responsible to answer radio calls, just get to know the people and hopefully create some lasting relationships with the community they serve. Our hope is that these relationships will foster better communication between police and the community, thus making Cleveland a safer city. Here are some great pictures of Officer Ray Francel and Sgt. Mike Lawrence out on the street making friends. Thank you Saint Luke’s Foundation for believing in Cleveland, the Cleveland Police, and the Cleveland Police Foundation.12141660_524841664347737_2427586873623151928_n
