Detective Cindy Moore is a respected member of the Cleveland Division of Police, serving with distinction on the FBI-led Cartel Gang Narcotics and Laundering Task Force and the Division Crisis Negotiating Team.
In 2024, Detective Moore served as the lead case agent in a pivotal narcotics investigation that resulted in the arrest of high-ranking drug traffickers and the seizure of 69 kilograms of fentanyl pills, the largest such seizure in the region’s history. Her work prevented more than 600,000 fentanyl pills from reaching Cleveland streets, undoubtedly saving countless lives.
I reached out to Detective Moore’s immediate supervisor, Sergeant Michael McNeeley, to comment on her work. He stated:
“Detective Cindy Moore has earned the reputation as one of the best narcotics investigators in the Northern District of Ohio. During the course of the last several years, Task Force Officer Moore has been the lead on extremely complex investigations into drug trafficking organizations which have resulted in multiple arrests and record-setting seizures. She is always the first to volunteer for tough assignments and constantly provides advice to younger investigators on the task force. Detective Moore is a proven leader and represents what is best about the Cleveland Division of Police.”
It should also be noted that Detective Moore was named the Division’s Officer of the Year in 2024. Because of her diligence and devotion to her assigned duties, the Cleveland Police Foundation is honored to name Detective Cindy Moore our Police Officer of the Month for December 2025.
