Explorers and PAL Bring Holiday Spirit to Santa’s Hideaway Hollow

Parade of children and volunteers, some dressed as elves, walking past the North Pole Town Hall decorated with American flags and candy canes.

The Cleveland Police Law Enforcement Explorer Post #7 and officers from the Cleveland Police Athletic League (PAL) volunteered their Saturday to help bring joy to children and families at Santa’s Hideaway Hollow.

Founded in 1981, Santa’s Hideaway Hollow is dedicated to working with seriously and terminally ill children and their families, creating comfort and support during the most difficult times. Many children ask to see Santa one last time, and the organization makes sure those wishes are fulfilled—any time of year. With Santa’s healing spirit, every visit becomes a chance for hope and a final Christmas memory.

Special thanks go out to the CPD Explorers and to Officers Haggerty, Reyes, and Polz for giving their time to such a meaningful cause.
