Commander Mark Maguth, newly assigned to the Third District, shared a message with residents, businesses, and community partners this week as he stepped into his new role.
“The Third District is unique,” he wrote. “It’s the heart of our city and a hub of culture, commerce, and community spirit.”
Maguth brings years of experience to the position, most recently overseeing the Bureau of Support Services. He described his leadership style as one built on professionalism, transparency, and strong partnerships.
“My focus is on safety, visibility, and collaboration,” he added. “I look forward to working together with residents, businesses, and our community partners to build on the progress already underway.”
He also encouraged community members to say hello: “If you see me out at an event, on patrol, or in the neighborhood, please say hello! I’m here to serve and listen.”
The Cleveland Police Foundation welcomes Commander Maguth to his new post and looks forward to continued collaboration in the Third District.
