This week we joined departments across the country in celebrating Telecommunications Week and taking a moment to appreciate our dispatchers.
They’re the calm on the other end of the line when things go sideways. Whether it’s an emergency, a confusing call, or just one of those days, they handle it all with steady focus and quick thinking.
District 2 officers brought lunch to show their thanks, and throughout the week dispatchers were celebrated with kind words, photos, and a few well-earned treats.
