33rd Annual Cops and Kids Christmas Celebration

DSCN2020The 33rd Annual Cops and Kids Christmas Celebration was once again held at Ronald Mcdonald House and hosted by retired C.P.D. Officer John Thomas. The entrance way to the facility was decorated by the Ronald Mcdonald staff, which included a beautiful tree, glowing fireplace, and a dancing Santa Claus. Gifts for the children were provided by the Cops and Kids Organization, The Cleveland Police Foundation, The Cleveland Police Patrolman’s Association, Cleveland Fire Department, E.M.S., Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Cavaliers. Moms were given flowers and the children sat, and sang with the jolly one and got to chose the toy of their choice, followed by a delicious lunch. Thanks to all that participated especially the officers that took the time to interact, and make this a very special day for some very special children. Also thanks to Chief Calvin Williams, and C.P.P.A. President Steve Loomis for attending. See you all next year……(Bob Guttu, Cleveland Police Foundation)
