Random Acts of Kindness Program

Cleveland Police Foundation

Delivered to you by the Cleveland Police Foundation and The Cleveland Division of Police’s Bureau of Community Policing

This community outreach endeavor is to help families and individuals in need. Gift cards are distributed to POs and Detectives to be given out during friendly encounters in keeping with the spirit of the holiday season. A huge thanks to them for making it possible for us to participate in such a wonderful experience!

First Annual Random Acts of Kindness – 2016

Dear Secret Santa:

SantaHope you and [your wife] enjoyed and survived riding along w/Officer Jeff & Sergeant Neil. They’re great guys and I was glad to hear that they were eager to volunteer.

They, along w/more officers than I can mention were totally energized by what you generosity produced. The resulting good karma is immeasurable, but I can assure you it had great impact.

The media coverage was extensive, but the positive feedback even more so. We’re requesting that the officers provide some stories about their experiences so they can be chronicled in our annual journal and social media.

Based on the calls I’ve received, the people I’ve talked with and the posts on the Cleveland Police Foundation’s Facebook page, the day was a huge success!!!

Without empirical data, I can assure that your generosity had a most positive impact in the community and the Division of Police, and energized both citizens and rank and file members of the Cleveland Division of Police alike!

Our sincere thanks for helping to make Cleveland’s Holiday Season that much brighter for its citizens in need and our officers; and helping to lift morale for the CPD … an added bonus!

On behalf of the Cleveland Police Foundation and all involved with this great event, I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Joyous Holiday Season.

Chas.
