Community Partnership for Individuals
We invite individual citizens to join us as Annual Partners of the Cleveland Police Foundation (CPF). Partnership provides individuals the opportunity to support the CPF in fulfilling its mission to support the members of the Cleveland Division of Police in its community policing and engagement efforts, youth outreach and other charitable endeavors.
The Cleveland Police and Cleveland Police Foundation joined the FBI at the 2nd District to read to the kids from Horizon Education Centers. The kids toured the district and met the officers from patrol, the Detective Unit, and from the Community Services Unit. Officers and the FBI read books to the kids and discussed the importance of literacy, along with safety messages about guns, bullying, and strangers. This was as great a day for the police and FBI as it was for the children. These Little Free Libraries were placed in the district stations for exactly this type of program!!
