CPD Canine Receives Donation from Metro Hospital’s ER Staff

Hugo had a big kiss waiting for the nurses!!

The Cleveland Police Foundation and our Canine Unit received a very generous donation from the staff at Metro Hospital’s Emergency Department. The staff of the ER (nurses, doctors, medics, etc.) donated over $1300 to help our precious canine officers. The money will go toward buying a dog washing station. This dog washing station will not only keep the dogs clean, but save the dogs’ handlers a tremendous amount of time and aggravation after a hard days work. Canine officers Benny, Dexter, and Hugo want to bark out a huge thank you also for the colorful scarves that were donated!!

Thank you MetroHealth ER staff for thinking of Cleveland Police and our canine officers and handlers!!
